Week 12:

This week, our task is to create an animatic storyboard and apply the theories that we learned throughout weeks 1 - 12. We also have a revision session if needing help or feedback from the lecturer.

Final Project | Animatic Storyboard

As for this assignment, we were needed to create an animatic storyboard based on the theories we learned throughout the whole week. I aimed to do horror since that is the genre I love the most out of all movies. I started to gather some inspiration and began sketching. I also had to make some adjustments because I had some difficulty condensing the chapter from the pitch bible and story development to fit within the allotted minute.

The drawing process took a while, but I was really proud of how long it took me to compile all of the sketches to the animatic storyboard and make the transition seamless. I did struggle to find the soundtracks, but in the end, I was able to find them even if hearing some of it gave me goosebumps.

I'm quite a scaredy cat myself, so this assignment was definitely challenging for me because I had to challenge myself to draw such a disturbing figure and look up horror soundtracks. Nevertheless, after all the sleepless nights, This project was fun and I'm proud of myself for completing the project and having it turn out as I had expected.

On top of that, we have to make a literature matrix to create the subheading of our research. We have to check if the article is written by scholars.
