I chose the video "Pina's Spaghetti alla Carbonara" by Pasta Grannies, then, I started out by sketching some layouts for the poster.

I believe option 1 or 3 is most effective because, psychologically speaking, the human mind typically reads from left to right and up and down. Option 2 seems ineffective as people usually prefer to check ingredients first before the method to ensure they have everything needed for cooking. Option 4, on the other hand, appears too disorganized. I hopped onto Canva to sketch out the layout and I decided to go with number 1, after I did the layout I drew the elements on my iPad using ProCreate.

After handing it to Mr. Shamsul, I received the feedback. He mentioned that it was nicely done and that the elements, style, and color palette worked out but I need to have some revisions on the composition. He suggested enlarging the spaghetti visual and bringing the title upwards. I then proceed with the corrections.

I'm quite satisfied with the overall results.
Project 2 | Infographic Video
I proceeded to import all of the elements I made for the video. I first sketch out extra elements like the whisk and a bowl of beaten eggs pouring. I also sketch a background for the video to make it not-so-plain.
I then imported everything to Filmora, I started to layer the elements and animate the movements for the elements I sketched out earlier using keyframes, there were a lot of trials and errors but at the end of the day, I managed to get everything in place. I also added some no-copyright music for the video that matches the vibe of my animation. The overall animation was about 1 minute and 17 seconds.

After I felt like everything was done, I added the sound effects (cracking egg, whisking, etc.) to enhance the video. I feel like the overall color palette, music, and sound effects match the vibe of the video well.
Fig 2.2 Animation trial
After I showed the video to Mr. Shamsul, he suggested I put the step-by-step description at the bottom and not on top since the purpose of the video is to show and let the audience focus more on the visual. He also suggested that I be more careful about the positioning of the description to be either right in the middle or left side. After some corrections and adjustments, I finished the animation and exported it.

Overall this was quite a fun assignment to learn and do.
FEEDBACK
Week 4:
Overall is great, try putting the title a bit more upward since there's more space in the upper area of the poster. Try experiencing the title by highlighting some words, and enlarging the spaghetti result if possible. For the animation, try adding a transition for the spaghetti and decide if the description is supposed to be placed in the middle or left side, try to put the description at the bottom and not on top.
REFLECTIONS
This assignment is quite fun to learn and do especially since I have to focus a lot on the keyframes that even the slightest mistake took quite some time to correct. I enjoy a lot creating the visuals and playing with the color palette to make the overall result match my aesthetic and artsyle.
